The Popsie Fish Company partners with Boston Smoked Fish Company so customers can add smoked fish to their frozen wild-caught Alaskan fish box orders.
HOMER, Alaska - AkGlobe -- The Popsie Fish Company a family setnet fishing business offering high-quality wild-caught sockeye salmon to individuals and wholesalers, today announced that customers can also get smoked sockeye salmon and smoked sablefish delivered to their doors.
Families have been enjoying seafood from The Popsie Fish Company for decades, and this summer, Popsie teamed up with the experts at The Boston Fish Company to smoke its wild-caught sockeye salmon and sablefish. Thoughtfully crafted, the fish are brined with herbs and spices and then hot smoked over aromatic pecan and cherry wood.
"Smoked fish is such a special treat. We're super excited that our dream of bringing this product to market is now a reality," says Kammi Matson, Director of Sales & Marketing of Popsie Fish Company. "It took time to find the right partner because, as Alaskans, we're pretty particular about the taste of hot-smoked salmon. I'm also thrilled about our smoked sablefish, also known as black cod, because it has a melt-in-your-mouth buttery taste, unique velvety texture, and rich flavor profile."
