CHICAGO - AkGlobe -- Inspired by the timeless wisdom of naturalist Loren Eiseley, author Kathleen Welton's new novel, The Star Thrower, transforms a beloved philosophical essay into a high-stakes modern battle for wildlife.

In Kathleen Welton's reimagining, three friends—Ava, Sam, and Leo—embark on a post-graduation trip to Bali with a simple pact: to find their true purpose.
