WASHINGTON, Dec. 6, 2024 ~ NASA has announced that Nova Space Solutions, LLC of Anchorage, Alaska has been selected to provide operations, services, maintenance, and infrastructure support for two of its key facilities. The Stennis Space Center near Bay St. Louis, Mississippi and the Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans will both receive support from Nova Space Solutions under the Combined Operations, Services, Maintenance, and Infrastructure Contract.

This contract is valued at approximately $822.7 million and will be a cost-plus-incentive-fee, firm-fixed-price, and indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. The performance period is set to begin on July 1, 2025 and will extend for eight years and three months. This includes a 15-month base period followed by a one-year option period and three two-year option periods.

Nova Space Solutions will have a wide range of responsibilities under this contract including contract management, logistics, safety compliance, health and environmental compliance, engineering and manufacturing support services, site services, facility operations and maintenance services as well as environmental services and program management.

The Stennis Space Center is known as the nation's largest propulsion test site with the capability to support projects of all sizes. It is used by NASA researchers as well as other government agencies and private industry for technology development projects. Similarly, NASA's Michoud Assembly Facility is managed by the agency's Marshall Flight Center in Huntsville Alabama and is known as the premier site for manufacturing and assembly of large-scale space structures and systems.
