SAN RAMON, Calif. - AkGlobe -- Shiven Aggarwal, a senior at Dougherty Valley High School (DVHS), has been selected to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City for the High School Honors Performance Series. Shiven will perform as a Bass Vocalist in November with the Honors Choir, under the direction of renowned conductor, Greg Gilpin. Participation in the Honors Ensembles is limited to the highest-rated young performers from around the world.
Shiven auditioned for the Honors Performance Series and was recently accepted after a review by the Honors Selection Board. Acceptance to the elite group is a direct result of the singers' talent, dedication, and achievements demonstrated in their application and audition recording.
