Juneau: Thanksgiving weekend schedule for CBJ offices & facilities

~ The City and Borough of Juneau will be observing the Thanksgiving Day holiday on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 by closing all offices and facilities, including City Hall offices, the Juneau-Douglas City Museum, Zach Gordon Youth Center, Dimond Park Field House, and all Juneau Public Library branches.

Capital Transit will not be in service on Thursday but will resume full service on Friday. The Jensen-Olson Arboretum will be closed on Thursday but open on Friday. Dimond Park Aquatic Center will be open from 7 – 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day and 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Friday. RecycleWorks and the Household Hazardous Waste facility will both be closed from Thursday through Saturday but reopen to the public on Monday, November 27. Shéiyi X̱aat Hít Youth Shelter is open throughout the holidays while Treadwell Arena will be closed Thursday but open to the public on Friday with their annual Santa Skate at 7 p.m..
