~ A streetlight at the intersection of Stephen Richards and Riverside Drive in Juneau is currently experiencing technical difficulties and is operating on "flash mode." The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) Streets officials have been made aware of the issue and are working diligently to resolve it as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, drivers are advised to exercise caution and follow four-way stop driving protocols. This includes remembering that the first vehicle to arrive at the intersection has the right of way. In cases where two vehicles arrive simultaneously, the driver on the right should proceed first. Pedestrians should always be given priority and have the right of way.

To ensure safety, drivers are reminded to use their turn signals, come to a complete stop, make eye contact with other drivers, and proceed with caution. The CBJ Streets department would like to thank motorists and pedestrians for their patience and extra attention during this time, especially with the recent heavy snowfall.
