~ Juneau, Alaska - The CBJ Parks & Recreation department has announced their partnership with Juneau Public Libraries to bring back the popular StoryPath event at Overstreet Park Seawalk. This year, the event will feature three books by Alaskan writers or illustrators over a span of three weeks in June.

The first StoryPath, titled "Raven and the Hidden Halibut," will run from June 4th to 10th. This story, adapted from a tale by 2015 Tlingit Culture, Language, & Literacy students and illustrated by Nick Alan Foote, was published by Sealaska Heritage. The second week will feature "Alaska is for the Birds!" written by Susan Ewing and illustrated by Evon Zerbetz. Finally, the third week will showcase "When You See Flukes," written by Kathy Hocker and Cheryl Cook and illustrated by Kathy Hocker.

Participants can enjoy reading these stories as they walk along the Seawalk, with framed pages of the books displayed along the path. Additionally, for StoryPath #1, there will be a special bonus for those who want to listen to an audio book version in Lingít courtesy of Sealaska Heritage Institute.
