Juneau: Revised Montana Creek Master Plan To Be Presented at December 7 Public Meeting

CBJ Parks & Recreation, together with Trail Mix, the United States Forest Service, the State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources and Department of Transportation, will be presenting a revised Master Plan for the Montana Creek Recreation Area at a public meeting on Wednesday, December 7 at 5:30 p.m. at the Trail Mix shop (5723 Concrete Way).

The master plan process began August 2021 with a community-wide survey and stakeholder meetings through the fall and winter. This past August, the community reviewed and commented on the draft master plan and based on that input, a revised master plan was developed.

There will be time for questions and discussion at the conclusion of the presentation. Public comments will be accepted via email to parks.rec@juneau.org through 5 p.m. on December 21.
