Juneau: Registration for summer springboard diving lessons opens June 21

~ Juneau Pools is excited to announce that they will be offering springboard diving lessons at the Dimond Park Aquatic Center this summer. The classes, which will be available in both introductory and intermediate levels, are set to begin in July and run through August.

Interested individuals can register for the classes online by clicking on the Juneau Pools tab starting Friday, June 21 at noon. The classes will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from July 9 to August 1. The introductory class will run from 6-6:45 p.m., while the intermediate class will follow from 7-8 p.m.

The cost for each class is $80 plus tax for a total of eight lessons. It is important to note that all participants must be at least 8 years old.

The introductory class is designed for those with little to no prior diving experience. Students will learn proper diving techniques, including approach, takeoff, flight, and entry. The main focus of this class is to build confidence and master basic dives.

For those who have already mastered the basics and are ready for a challenge, the intermediate class is the perfect fit. This class will focus on teaching more advanced dives to help participants push their abilities further.
