Juneau: Registration for summer Parent & Tot swim lessons opens July 30

~ Juneau Pools, a popular swimming facility in the city, has announced that they will be offering Parent & Tot swim lessons this summer. The lessons will be available at both Dimond Park Aquatic Center and Augustus G. Brown Swimming Pool. Registration for these classes will open on Tuesday, July 30 at noon and can be done online through the Parks & Rec registration catalog by clicking on the "Juneau Pools" tab.

According to the Juneau Pools website, these lessons are specifically designed for children aged 6 months to 3 years. Each child must be accompanied by an adult in the pool and is required to wear swim diapers during class. The website also provides a detailed description of the class.

At Dimond Park Aquatic Center, classes will take place from August 6-29 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 – 5:30 p.m. The cost for 8 lessons is $80 plus tax. Meanwhile, at Augustus G. Brown Swimming Pool, classes will run from August 3 – September 14 on Saturdays from 10:15 – 10:45 a.m., with no class on August 31 due to Labor Day weekend. The cost for 6 lessons is $60 plus tax.
