~ Juneau, Alaska - The registration for CBJ Parks & Recreation's Start Smart Soccer program will open on Monday, June 23 at 12 p.m. Parents and guardians can sign up their children online through the Parks and Rec registration catalog under the "Youth and Teen" tab.
The Start Smart Soccer program is designed for children ages 3-4 and will run for six weeks from mid-July through August. The cost of the program is $40 plus tax and includes a Start Smart t-shirt. Scholarships are also available for those in need, with applications being accepted online at bit.ly/ZGYCscholarship or by emailing [email protected]
This year, CBJ is offering two sessions of the program - one in downtown Juneau and one in the Valley. However, participants are only allowed to register for one session to ensure that as many children as possible can participate. Each session has a limit of 25 spots.
