~ Juneau Pools is excited to announce a second spring session of their popular Parent & Tot Lessons and Lil' Swimmers program. These classes, designed for young children, will be held on Saturdays in March and April at the Dimond Park Aquatic Center.
Registration for these classes will open on Friday, February 28 at noon through the Parks & Recreation online registration catalog. The sessions will run from March 8 to April 18, with no class on April 5.
The Parent & Tot lessons are open to children ages 6 months to 3 years and will be divided into two sessions. The first session, from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m., is for children aged 6 to 17 months. The second session, from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m., is for children aged 18 to 35 months. Each child must be accompanied by an adult in the pool and swim diapers are required (available for purchase at the front desk).

The Lil' Swimmers program is open to children ages 3 to 5 years and will also have two sessions. The first session will run from 10:45 to 11:15 a.m., followed by the second session from 11:30 a.m. to12 p.m. This program uses a non-traditional format to teach young beginners basic water skills.
Both programs cost $60 plus tax and interested parents can learn more about them on the Juneau Pools website.
