~ On Saturday, July 20, families are invited to join the Friends of the Jensen-Olson Arboretum for a free program that will allow them to explore the outdoors as Junior Naturalists. From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., participants will have the opportunity to unlock their inner naturalist by learning how to make nature journals, draw sound maps, and discover new ways to connect with nature.

Registration for this event can be done online through the Parks & Recreation registration catalog starting Monday, July 8 at noon. There are only 20 spaces available, so interested individuals are encouraged to register early. A waitlist will also be opened once registration is full.
