~ As the CBJ Regular Municipal Election approaches, residents of Juneau are reminded to register to vote or update their mailing address before the September 7 deadline. This is the last day for eligible voters to register or make any necessary changes in order to participate in the upcoming election.

To register or update information, individuals can visit voterregistration.alaska.gov or go to City Hall or any public library for paper registration. It is important for those who will turn 18 years of age by October 7 to also register by the September 7 deadline in order to be eligible to vote.

Registered Juneau voters can expect to receive their ballots by mail on September 19 at the mailing address on file with the State of Alaska Division of Elections. To ensure that their registration status and mailing address are up-to-date, voters can check online at myvoterportal.alaska.gov.
