Juneau: Public invited to proposed temporary disc golf course in Savikko Park on May 24

The Juneau Disc Golf Club is inviting the public to learn about the proposed temporary disc golf course at Treadwell Mine Historic Trail in Savikko Park. Join club president, board members and Parks and Recreation staff on Tuesday, May 24, from 6-7:30 p.m. for a walk through of the proposed nine-hole course. The public can see the proposed course route, ask questions, and offer ideas or concerns. Meet by the Savikko Park tire swing at 6:00 p.m. to walk through the proposed course. Meet there again at 7:00 p.m. to speak to the Juneau Disc Golf Club about the course.

The Juneau Disc Golf Club will then present the proposal at the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee (PRAC) regular meeting on Tuesday, June 7 at 5:30 p.m. There will be opportunity for public comment at this meeting.  Go here for more PRAC meeting information.
