~ The winter season has arrived and with it comes the return of Preschool Open Gym, a popular program for children ages 6 months to 6 years. This seasonal program provides a warm and dry environment for children to run and play during the colder months.
According to the latest press release, Preschool Open Gym will be held from December 2 through April 25 at Mt. Jumbo Gym located at 909 4th Street. The sessions will be available Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with the gym being closed on holidays such as Christmas and New Year's.
Parents can enroll their children in the program for a fee of $5 per child, while there is no charge for parents or infants under 6 months. Additionally, Turf for Tots passes and Parks & Rec Winter Passes will also be accepted, but it is important to note that the Winter Pass must be assigned to the child. For convenience, passes can be purchased online under the Mt. Jumbo Gym tab and can also be used at the Field House for Turf for Tots.
