The Regular Planning Commission meets June 28, 2022, at 7 P.M. This meeting will be a hybrid meeting held both in person and via Zoom, and will be to review Conditional Use Permits for a Marijuana Retail Facility and converting 211 4th Street into 33 apartments.
This hybrid meeting will be held in person and by remote participation. If you're giving public comment, you'll be asked to state your name, place of residence, and will be asked to stay on the phone after your testimony to answer any questions from the Commission. Conditional Use Permit for a Marijuana Retail Store (USE2022 0007)
The applicant requests a Permit for the development of a Marijuana Retail Store in the Light Commercial zoning district. Currently, the lot has a single-family dwelling. The existing structure will remain, and a new structure will be constructed to accommodate the retail store. The existing structure will be renovated to convert the office spaces into dwelling units. The footprint of the building will not change. The structure, known as the Assembly Building, was constructed in 1934. In 1973, the building was converted into commercial offices.
