~ Starting Tuesday, May 20, pedestrians will need to find an alternate route on the channel side of Egan Drive between Whittier Street and Willoughby Avenue. This is due to the construction work being done on the Outer Drive Wastewater Lift Station. The closure is expected to last until September.
To bypass the construction zone, pedestrians are advised to use the Whittier Street traffic lights or the crosswalk in front of the Four Seasons Hotel. Sidewalk closure barricades and pedestrian detour signs will be in place for safety purposes. It is important for everyone to obey all signage and detours.
