~ Juneau Residents Invited to Learn About Property Assessment Process

The City and Borough of Juneau is offering an opportunity for property owners and interested residents to gain a better understanding of how property assessment works in the area. On Friday, February 23, the Borough Assembly and CBJ Finance Department will be hosting a brown bag lunch and learn session in the Assembly Chambers.

CBJ Finance Director Angie Flick will be leading the session, providing insight into the process of assessing properties in Juneau and the standards used by the Assessor's Office. Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions during a designated Q&A portion of the presentation. The session will begin shortly after the conclusion of a special Assembly meeting at 11:45 a.m., with an estimated start time of 12 p.m.

This learning opportunity is open to all members of the community. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch and curiosity as they learn more about this important process. However, it should be noted that this session will cover general property assessment topics.
