Jensen ~ Juneau, Alaska- The Jensen-Olson Arboretum has recently announced the completion of a new accessible pathway on their grounds. This exciting addition will allow visitors with mobility challenges to navigate through the garden with ease. The project was made possible by generous support from various organizations, including the AARP's Community Challenge Grant Program, the family of Cheryl Fluck, Juneau-Gastineau Rotary, Juneau Community Foundation, and Friends of Jensen-Olson Arboretum.

To celebrate this milestone, Friends of Jensen-Olson Arboretum will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony and refreshments on Saturday, September 28 at 1 p.m. This event will also serve as one of the last opportunities for visitors to explore the Arboretum before it closes for maintenance until January.
