The Jensen ~ The Jensen-Olson Arboretum, a popular destination for nature lovers and horticulture enthusiasts, will be temporarily closed to the public from October through December. This closure is due to necessary facilities maintenance that will take place during this time. The Arboretum, located in Juneau, Alaska, is set to reopen on January 3.
Before the closure, visitors can still enjoy the beautiful fall foliage at the Arboretum from September 25 to September 29. During this final week of fall, there will also be a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the addition of a new accessible pathway on the grounds. More details about this event will be announced soon. Visitation during this time is available by appointment until October 5.
