Most City and Borough of Juneau offices and facilities—including City Hall offices and all Juneau Public Library branches—will be closed Sunday, December 25, and Monday, December 26, and then again on Sunday, January 1, and Monday, January 2, in observance of the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays.

City Museum
The Juneau-Douglas City Museum will be closed on Saturday, December 24. The Museum is closed on Sundays throughout the winter.
Dimond Park Field House
The Dimond Park Field House track will be closed Saturday, December 24 through Monday, December 26 and again Saturday, December 31 through Monday, January 2. As a reminder, Turf for Tots is cancelled from December 22 through January 2 while DPFH hosts the annual Holiday Cup soccer tournament.
Eaglecrest Ski Area
Eaglecrest will be closed Sunday, December 25, and Thursday, January 5, but otherwise open daily throughout the holidays. Eaglecrest will also host a special evening event on Saturday, December 24. For more information, visit skieaglecrest.com.
Juneau Pools
Augustus Brown Swimming Pool and Dimond Park Aquatic Center will be closed Sunday, December 25, and again on Sunday, January 1. The pools will be open on Saturday, December 24; Monday, December 26; Saturday, December 31; and Monday, December 2. For session schedules for both pools, please visit the Juneau Pools website.

Both the Household Hazardous Waste Facility and the Recycling Center will be closed Saturday, December 24 through Monday, December 26 and again Saturday, December 31 through Monday, January 2. For more information, visit juneaurecycling.com.

Shéiyi X̱aat Hít Youth Shelter is open throughout the holidays.
Treadwell Arena
Treadwell Arena will be closed Saturday, December 24, Sunday, December 25, and Sunday, January 1.
Otherwise, Treadwell Arena is offering a variety of public sessions over the holidays. Walk in or reserve your spot (see the "Treadwell Arena" tab) for a discount. See the online calendar for a full schedule.
Zach Gordon Youth Center
The Zach Gordon Youth Center will be closed Saturday, December 24 through Monday, December 26 and again Saturday, December 31 through Monday, January 2.

Capital Transit & CAPITAL AKcess
- Saturday, December 24 – Bus service will end early:
- The last bus to Downtown from the Valley: Route 4 from Auke Bay at 6:19 p.m.
- The last bus to Downtown from Douglas: Route 1 from Treadwell at 6:28 p.m.
- The last bus to the Valley from Downtown: Route 3 from the DTC at 6:40 p.m.
- The last bus from Downtown to Douglas: Route 1 from DTC at 7:12 p.m.
- CAPITAL AKcess service ends at 8 m.
- Sunday, December 25 – Buses will not be operating
- Monday, December 26 – Full service resumes
- Saturday, December 31 – Capital Transit and CAPITAL AKcess will have regular service
- Sunday, January 1 – Buses will not be operating
- Monday, January 2 – Full service resumes
