~ As the summer comes to an end, Parks & Recreation is gearing up for their youth indoor soccer season. Registration for children ages 5 to 14 will open on Monday, August 12, with an early bird rate of $55 + tax available until August 25. After that date, the registration fee will increase to $65 + tax.
Interested parents can register their children online under the "Youth & Teen" section starting at 8 a.m. on August 12. For families in need of financial assistance, scholarships are available and can be applied for through an online form. Any questions regarding scholarships can be directed to Recreation Coordinator Amanda Lovejoy at (907) 586-2635 ext. 4156.

The season will run from October through mid-December and will consist of one practice night per week, Monday through Friday between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., with games taking place on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. There will be coed and girls divisions for ages 5-10 and a coed division only for ages 11-14. In the event of low numbers in certain age groups or locations, younger divisions may be combined.
It is important to note that children must be at least five years old by November 1, 2024 in order to participate in the league. Additionally, Parks & Recreation will not be able to accommodate any coach requests.
