~ As the winter season approaches, Parks & Recreation is gearing up for their annual Youth Basketball League and Peewee Basketball programs. Registration for both leagues will open on Monday, November 18 at noon.
Parents and guardians can register their children online under the "Youth & Teen" tab on the program's website. The Youth Basketball League is open to children ages 6 to 14, while Peewee Basketball is specifically designed for 5-year-olds.
Early bird registration for Youth Basketball will cost $55 plus tax and will run from November 18 to December 1. Late registration will be available from December 2 until the league reaches full capacity, with a fee of $65 plus tax. For Peewee Basketball, registration will cost $40 plus tax and will also be on a first come, first served basis until the league is full.
Due to limited space, once a division is full, children will automatically be placed on a waitlist. In the event of low registration numbers, divisions may be combined. Scholarships are also available for those in need; an online form can be completed to apply.
