~ As spring arrives, the Jensen-Olson Arboretum is bursting with color as their renowned collection of primula flowers are in full bloom. To celebrate this occasion, the Friends of Jensen-Olson Arboretum are hosting a special event on Sunday, May 19.

The day will kick off with a plant sale at 10 a.m., offering visitors the opportunity to take home some of these beautiful flowers for their own gardens. Throughout the day, the sale will continue and guests can also enjoy a guided tour of the gardens starting at 11 a.m. Both the tour and admission to the Arboretum are free of charge.

With over 170 varieties of primula, also known as primroses, the Arboretum boasts an impressive collection that has been nationally recognized for its diversity and beauty. This is all thanks to Caroline Jensen, whose initial plantings formed the foundation for this collection.
