Juneau: CBJ Experiencing Area-Wide Street Flooding Conditions
AkGlobe News/10234698

~ Residents of the Borough are facing flooding conditions due to heavy rain melting a thick snow pack. Ditches and drains that are still covered with snow and ice are slowing the movement of water, leading to flooding. The CBJ crews are working hard to respond to the worst affected areas as quickly as possible.

Residents can help by opening up any plugged drains in their neighborhood, but should not park on or near them as CBJ crews may need rapid access. To locate storm drains in their area, they can visit CBJ's parcel viewer at epv.juneau.org and click on the "Streets" layer followed by the "Storm Drain" layer.
