Juneau: CBJ Downtown and Douglas offices and facilities closing at 11 AM today, November 20; public cautioned to avoid unnecessary travel

~ The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) has announced that due to high winds and low visibility, all Downtown and Douglas offices and facilities will close at 11:00 a.m. today, Monday, November 20. This includes City Hall, the Downtown Juneau Public Library, Juneau-Douglas City Museum, Treadwell Arena, the Permit Center, and Zach Gordon Youth Center.

CBJ urges citizens to use extreme caution while driving and avoid unnecessary travel whenever possible for the safety of themselves and others.
