Juneau: CBJ Assembly makes appointments to Docks & Harbors Board, Airport Board, and Eaglecrest Board

~ The City and Borough of Juneau recently held Empowered Board interviews on July 1 and 2, 2024. The Full Assembly, sitting as the Assembly Human Resources Committee, made appointments to the Docks & Harbors Board, Airport Board, and Eaglecrest Board during a Special Assembly Meeting held via Zoom Webinar on Tuesday, July 2.

For the Docks and Harbors Board, the Assembly reappointed James 'Jim' Becker and Matthew Leither, as well as appointed Nicholas Orr to full terms beginning immediately (July 1, 2024) and ending June 30, 2027. Additionally, Clayton Hamilton and Thomas 'Tyler' Emerson were appointed to the Docks and Harbors Board for unexpired terms beginning immediately and ending June 30, 2026.

In regards to the Airport Board, Danial Spencer was reappointed to the public seat while Charles Williams was appointed to the tenant seat. Both terms will begin immediately (July 1, 2024) and end on June 30, 2027.

The Eaglecrest Board also saw appointments with Michael Satre and Hannah Shively being reappointed to full terms beginning immediately (July 1, 2024) and ending June 30, 2027. Brandon Cullum was also appointed to an unexpired term beginning immediately and ending June 30, 2025.

The Assembly expressed their gratitude towards outgoing Docks & Harbors Board member Paul Grant and outgoing Airport Board member Al Clough for their service. They also thanked all individuals who submitted applications for consideration.
