This unique 10 ~ Capital City Fire/Rescue (CCFR) has recently announced the launch of a new Paid Firefighter Apprenticeship Program, aimed at providing individuals with a fast-track into a fulfilling and secure career in emergency services. This 10-month program is open to six motivated individuals who will receive paid, hands-on training and multiple certifications that will qualify them for permanent, year-round positions with CCFR.

Chief Rich Etheridge of Capital City Fire/Rescue expressed his excitement about the program, stating that it is an investment in both the community and the future of public safety in Juneau. "In a time when career stability is harder to come by, emergency services continues to offer excellent job security, benefits, and a deep sense of purpose," he said.

The apprenticeship program will provide training and certifications in various areas such as structural firefighting, emergency medical response, rescue techniques, and more. The best part?
