~ The City & Borough of Juneau is currently experiencing a surge in calls from utility customers who have not yet received their most recent bills in the mail. According to a press release issued by the city, these bills were mailed out on November 27 through the U.S. Postal Service. However, some customers have expressed concerns about not receiving their bills and are encouraged to contact the Postal Service for further information.
In the meantime, the city has provided alternative options for customers to check their account balance and make payments. Customers can access their account balance online at www.invoicecloud.com/cityandboroughofjuneauak by clicking on the "Water/Sewer" button and entering their Customer Number as it appears on their monthly bills. More information on how to view and pay utility bills online can be found on the Utility FAQ page at juneau.org/engineering-public-works/utilities-division/faq. Additionally, customers can sign up to receive their bill via email for timely delivery.

It is important for customers to be aware that ongoing mail delays at the U.S. Postal Service may result in late payments. The city reminds customers that utility payments are considered timely based on when they are received, regardless of when they were mailed. Therefore, if paying by mail, it is advised to allow for possible delays. Alternatively, customers can avoid potential delays by paying online or utilizing one of the dropbox locations located at Superbear IGA, Foodland IGA, and outside the main entrance of City Hall on Heritage Way.
The City & Borough of Juneau urges all utility customers to stay informed and utilize alternative payment methods during this time of potential mail delays. For any further questions or concerns, please contact the U.S. Postal Service or visit juneau.org/engineering-public-works/utilities-division/faq for more information.
