~ The City of Juneau is currently seeking individuals interested in serving on various Enterprise Boards and Advisory Boards. The Clerk's Office has announced that applications are now being accepted for several seats on these boards, and interested parties are encouraged to apply online.
According to the Clerk's Office, the Airport Board has five seats available for various terms, while the Eaglecrest Ski Area Board has three seats with terms running from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2028. Those interested in applying for these boards should fill out an online application and indicate which board they are interested in.
Applicants for the Airport or Eaglecrest Boards will also be required to answer advanced interview questions specific to the Enterprise Board they have applied for. These questions will be emailed by the Clerk's Office upon receipt of an application. Once applicants have returned their answers, they will be scheduled for a 10-minute interview with the full Assembly at a meeting of the Assembly Human Resources Committee. The dates and times for these interviews are yet to be finalized but are expected to take place in mid to late July.

These include the Board of Equalization, which has two seats available for various terms from May to July; the Historic Resources Advisory Committee, which has one seat available for a term running from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2028; the Juneau Commission on Sustainability, which has three seats available for terms running from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2028; the Systemic Racism Review Committee, which has three seats available for various terms; and the Youth Activities Board, which has three seats available for various terms.

Applications will remain on file for one year and will be considered for any future vacancies on the boards or committees of interest.
