Join Olympians Scott Hamilton, Keegan Messing, and Polina Edmunds at Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer events in Juneau from September 29 – October 1

~ On Saturday, September 30, Olympic gold medalist Scott Hamilton will be hosting two special ice shows at Treadwell Arena in Juneau. Joining him will be 2014 Olympian Polina Edmunds and 2018 and 2022 Olympian Keegan Messing from Girdwood, Alaska. The event is part of a celebration weekend of Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™ special events hosted by the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation (CARES).

The ice shows will take place at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., with Hamilton emceeing the event. Seating is limited and guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance. In addition to the ice show, there will be adult and youth hockey games, a Remembrance Walk presented by Southeast Radiation Oncology Center, and an open skate presented by Bartlett Regional Hospital. All events start and finish at Treadwell Arena, with registration required for all events.

The admission/registration fees go towards fundraising for CARES' national research project on pediatric glioblastoma brain tumors as well as Cancer Connection's travel assistance program which provides financial grants for expenses related to cancer care services outside Southeast Alaska.

Scott Hamilton is excited to bring his friends to Juneau for this special event that will help support cancer research and those living with cancer in Alaska.
